Our friend, Wendy Thomas who lives in St. Andrews Close was so moved by the plight of the starving children in Afghanistan that she decided to do something about it and raise some money to help feed these poor kids.

So she started knitting and is making the most beautiful bears and all kinds of other things like tea cosys and baby blankets.  She is raising money for Unicef and would be so grateful if you would buy a bear and feed a child.
