Food Bank
As children are at home for the school holidays, families are in increasing need of the Food Bank. Any donations you can spare will be gratefully received. Boxes are in the church and in the village hall and all food gets delivered to the Stowmarket Food Bank. Sue Merriam

Many Thanks
More than one month ago our amazing host Samantha Mulgrew started the GoFund project to help my family raise the money for a car and with it our independence. I had my own money but it was not enough to buy the car. Sam made the announcement in the Wickham Skeith village newsletter and we received a lot of support from citizens of this amazing village. I'm very thankful to everyone who took part in this project and helped our family to raise money for my car. Also, I'm thankful to Steve for lending his car to my sister-in-law. We tried to raise the money for one family and amazingly received opportunities for two families now. I, Hanna Derevianko, and from all of our little Ukrainian community in Wickham Skeith, are all very thankful for your interest, help, support and protection. Thank you very much for these great opportunities. In Ukraine we say that "Ukraine is the capital of great people". I could say the same about the people of Wickham Skeith: you are amazing and great! Thanks to everyone! Best wishes , Hanna Derevianko

THANKYOUThank you so very much to everyone who contributed to the purchase of a car for my lovely Ukrainian Guest Hanna. Through Go Fund Me donations, and her own savings, we were able to buy her a Nissan Qashqai, her first instalment of insurance, road tax and breakdown cover, plus all the safety bits for her car. She has called her “Nitsa” and has ventured as far as Colchester and West Mersea already. Giving her greater freedom & independence. Thank you again Sam xx
